Give your child an adventure they’ll never forget with the Big Bass Guide Kid Camps! Designed for kids aged 6 and up, our specialized half-day sessions go far beyond traditional summer camp. Under the guidance of a USCG Certified Professional Captain, campers master freshwater fishing techniques, learn crucial water safety, and spend four action-packed days having fun on the beautiful Chain of Lakes in Central Florida.

Our camp is structured to significantly improve the knowledge and skills of every young participant, whether they are a complete beginner or a veteran young angler.
Daily time spent on the water targeting and catching bass and other species on the productive Chain of Lakes.
Intensive instruction on casting, rigging, selection of baits and lures, and how to identify different fish species.
Dedicated shore-based instruction on essential skills like knot tying and proper fish handling.
Comprehensive lessons on boat safety, navigation, and how to safely appreciate the water environment.
Education on local animal species and their natural habitats, fostering respect for the environment.
Our half-day format ensures maximum fun and learning while keeping the kids energized and engaged.
For Who: Kids aged 6 and up.
When: Four-Day Sessions (Typically Monday – Thursday).
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Half-day).
Cost: $285 per child per week (Check the booking calendar for holiday week pricing/availability).
Location: We meet and depart daily from Salt Strong in Winter Haven, FL, where campers board the boat with the Captain.
Fun Time: Includes exciting Pontoon Boat riding and a guaranteed stop at a sandbar to jump in the water and cool off!

All essential fishing gear, including rods, reels, tackle, and life jackets, is supplied by the Captain. Please ensure your camper brings the following for a comfortable day:
Hydration: Drinks with their name clearly marked (a cooler and ice will be provided).
Swim Gear: Bathing suit (recommended to be worn under clothes) and a towel for sandbar swim time.
Sun Protection: Sunglasses, a hat/visor, and a long-sleeve dry-fit shirt (highly recommended for the Florida sun).
