Camp Goal
The goals of the camp are to take each camper and improve their knowledge and their skills as they relate to fresh water fishing. The instructors make sure each camper improves their abilities weather they are a beginner or a veteran fisherman.
Enroll now in a summer kids fishing camp and learn boat safety, fishing techniques and enjoy bass fishing on the chain of lakes. One day of the camp week will be spent on shore learning knot tying, casting and more.
This hands on class also includes education regarding fishing with different types of bait, seeing different animal species in their habitat and even stopping in the sandbar to take a swim and cool off. Spots are limited, reserve your week now!!!

Camp Activities
Boat safety, Knot tying, Swimming, Casting, Baits and Lures, Fishing Techniques, Pontoon Boat riding and Fishing with a Professional Captain
Campers are to arrive no later than 7:50 am daily at Salt Strong – 1505 Lake Shipp Dr. Winter Haven, FL 33880) and be ready to board the vessel with sunscreen already applied.
Boat leaves dock at 8:00am and returns at noon for parent pick up.
Camp Items | What To Bring
- Long sleeve dry fit shirt is recommended for sun protection.
- Bathing suit recommended to be worn under clothes in case we stop to jump in the water and cool off.
- Cap and/or visor
- Sunglasses
- Towel
- Drinks with name on bottle- Cooler and ice will be present on boat to store drinks.
- All fishing equipment will be on boat and supplied by the captain along with life jackets.
